June 9, 2020: LUNAR BASE GETS GO AHEAD

Moonbase Argos has finally been given its initial funding. A suitable building site for the colony has been selected approx. 45 km. southwest of the great crater Plato, near the northern shore of Mare Imbrium. Construction is set to begin early in 2021. The International Space Agency today also awarded the project an additional 8.53 billion Euros for its first year of operation. The new colony is slated to employ up to 200 workers in its initial development phase.
